What is a Dental Crown?
Dental crowns, also known as cover/caps, are personalized restorations that protect the whole noticeable section of a tooth right above the gumline. They are also used to get back the shape, dimensions, strength, and aspects of a damaged/broken or decayed tooth.
Tooth covers can be designed from different materials, such as porcelain, metal compounds, or a mixture of both, based on the requirements and priorities of the individuals. They are joined onto the developed tooth by a crown dentist, giving protection/strength, and support while looking like the natural color and shape of the actual tooth. Crown covers are generally used to re-establish teeth with broad decay, fractures, and large lining or after getting root canal treatment
